Atin Batra

Director, Impact Investing

A serial entrepreneur, Atin has helped build multiple organizations from the ground up. The endeavor that had the greatest impact on him personally was an education nonprofit focused on teaching public speaking skills to high school students in India. That sparked a decades-long passion for education, building real-world avenues for young adults to gain exposure and give them agency as they map out their future paths. This philosophy/thesis is what underpins his work at the crossroads of education and technology today.

Most recently, Atin was the founder and sole general partner of 27V, a Pre-Seed VC fund also focused on edtech and the future of work sectors. At 27V, he led investments in 28 companies across the world and sat on multiple boards in service of their founders. He has been a venture investor for more than nine years, having previously worked at a corporate accelerator and a deep tech VC firm.
