Chuxin Liang

Associate, Impact Investing

Raised by an entrepreneur dad and an English teacher mom in Guangzhou, Chuxin was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel across the globe by herself when she was 16 to pursue a better education in the U.S. She later graduated from Lehigh University with a master’s and bachelor’s degree in accounting and began her career at PwC in the asset management group in NYC. She later joined a VC fund as an investor before joining the Education Impact Fund team. 

She did not set out to build a career in education. During her time in NYC, she volunteered to teach children in underserved areas, such as financial literacy. That experience opened her eyes to the opportunity to make a difference in one child’s/student’s life and help them explore and discover; it also illuminated the systemic inequities in public education and the workforce. Today, she is fortunate in that she can dedicate her career at ECMC Group to supporting solutions that give everyone a chance to fulfill their potential.
